ABOUT DATA
SEARCHING

Double Stars are quite easy to identify in SIMBAD.
Use the designations for doubles as ** followed by the observer abbreviation and then the catalogue number.
Ie ; ** R 155, etc.
You can also find stars by here catalogue names, deep-sky objects and even more exotic objects. As there are so many doubles to choose from sometimes SIMBAD can find the catalogued pair, an in these cases, it is probably best to use the position in RA and Dec given in the doubles text. I.e. The WDS position designation I.e. 12034-6234 should be written as 12 03.4 -62 34
— WITH THE SPACES.
